The Big C – Rethink The Way We Look At Cancer

The big C- Rethink The Way We Look At Cancer.

It’s my favourite day of the week Sunday, and I have been kicking back on my beanbag overlooking the forest listening once again to Astrophysicist Dr Paul Davis on the podcast: “Rethink The Way We Look At Cancer”.

I absolutely love this podcast as it shines the light on how we are generally fed particular information and of cause how we tend to interpret information depending on our mindset and how we interpret life (negative or positive), dis-ease and particularly the big bad “C” word!

As Paul Davis mentions, Cancer touches every single family in the world in some way or another through friends and acquaintances and is becoming more and more prevalent as the un-killable dis-ease. However, as Dr Davis mentions there are uses for this disease which are entirely unexpected.

So, if you have been one of these people who has faced Cancer in some way, please take the time to listen to this podcast “Rethink the way we look at cancer” it will actually open your mind.

Might I express to you my reasoning for this article is to notice and to share with you the essence of life itself and what gives us life can bring the equal and opposite effect, sometimes completely unexpected? So in saying this what I mean is, that there is always a Yin and a Yang for everything in this world and a purpose for it all.

As a therapist and practitioner coming from an Eastern philosophy focus and Neuro language of the body-mind association, I would like to suggest that we take everything back to basics and look and see that we are all responsible individually for our environments internally and external.
So perhaps it is that cancer does not happen to us, it is something we create? I don’t mean this in a bad way only that it is important that we explore new perspectives.
With that different (and maybe difficult) perspective in mind, it is important for us to accept that it is up to us to decide. As the individual we can observe and listen to the language of the body’s mind and know that although disease might be present in our lives maybe we could ask more empowering questions like “how did I create this” and “how can I change it?”

How can we change it

These questions are from a perspective of taking ownership for life and being the creator, knowing that we decide and we have the choice to how we look at dis-ease in the body and how we go about our the healing process.
